What People Say About Working with Me

Seeing Sherry biweekly has changed my perception and opinion of working with a therapist for the better. Every session with Sherry is new, unique and alive. I walk away each time with a tool with which I can make some life adjustments on my own. Sometimes the tool is in the form of a personal story that Sherry has shared. Sometimes it’s more of a direct lesson or instruction. Sometimes it’s a spontaneous exercise that she has asked me to do that draws me actively into the present moment. I don’t plan what I am going to say before a session, trusting that whatever happens is supposed to happen.

Additionally, I am learning to see myself as an equal to Sherry. Despite her many competencies and talents, she does not sit several rungs higher than me on some human comparison ladder. Rather, we are in a circle together connected for our time together. This has made a huge impact on my relationships with other people. My mind has always played “where do I stand” in relationships. Sherry and I have never talked about this, but the experience feels very real and strong.

Sherry Goldman has positively impacted my life with her easy going, open minded, and relatable nature. She helps shift my perspective if I’m feeling unsettled about something. It’s as if she turned on a light in a dark room. I leave her office feeling lighter. She has a knack of bringing my awareness into the present. Leading me from negative emotions into a-ha moments. I am truly grateful and feel blessed to have met her.

I have been seeing Sherry ever since I was a freshman in college back in 2006. Now, I have a successful business, am a homeowner, and am happily married. This was all possible even with the stigma that a mood disorder has, with the help of Sherry Goldman. If it wasn’t for her and her generosity, and patience, I don’t think I’d be in the position I am now. I highly recommend her as therapist, business, ad life coach!

I came to Sherry with daily anxiety, that I had for years. Sherry listened to my concerns and has given me advice and strategies to put into practice in my life. They work! I started to feel better soon after the first few visits. I have learned that there are strategies I can use to control my anxiety and to improve the quality of my life. Sherry is very intuitive and easy to talk with. She has my highest recommendation.

Sherry is an inspiration to me. She helps me straighten out my life in so many ways, and also offers very helpful suggestions. She has helped me like no one else ever could. She also accepts me completely. She goes out of her way to help resolve my problems, and is extremely wise. I also love her adorable therapy dogs, they really do cheer me up.

Working with Sherry has both given me insights I may have not otherwise gotten, as well as accelerated my progress in understanding the root cause of my attention problems, depression, and anxiety. I believe she has put the time and effort into working on understanding herself on a fundamental level in a way that many therapists have not, so is in a unique position to help in that way.

Since seeing Sherry for the past five months, I have become more comfortable in my own skin. I am more accepting of who I am, and I am learning that I actually have things to bring to the table. This is huge; I have had depression since childhood. Sherry is very intuitive, very real, and always shows her passion to help and understand. After trying out many therapists over the years, I feel so lucky to have found Sherry. For the first time in my life I am getting the help I need.

How has Sherry helped me?

It’s almost beyond explanation! Since I have had Sherry in my life, I have learned so much about myself. I have learned to love more and become less angry. With tools like tapping, talk, and other therapies, I have been able to freely and safely explore my anxiety, self-doubt, and anger which has led me on a path to happiness. Thank you, Sherry!

I appreciate you!

It is rare to have a role model like you who is constantly exploring ways to be expansive. Her genuine desire to grow and ‘unbecome’ who you are not, is what inspired me to really try these new tools….. totally awesome experience. I admire you Shery and want to be like you in this way.

Sherry is absolutely trustworthy with a vulnerability which I am so grateful for, introspective, compassionate. What stands out the most to me is how genuine she is. I have seen her share these tools which she so clearly passionate about and believes in so much. It is beautiful and inspiring to see.

Sherry is joyful and introspective. Direct, yet compassionate. Someone who is willing to take risk in stating an informed opinion, yet understanding of a different perspective.
